Hi, I am Amanda. I have been part of the Ravensworth Lodge family for 15 years. I feel privileged to work alongside a team who provide exceptional, person-centred care for individuals in their later stages of life. We are a friendly, professional team who pride ourselves on providing a home from home environment. I have always been supported in my career here joining as a care assistant and through education and training to a senior, head senior and now Home Manager.
Deputy Manager – Heather Grisman.
I am Heather and I have worked at Ravensworth Lodge since 2020. I have worked in various roles within the home, including Care Assistant and Senior Care Assistant, before becoming Deputy Manager in 2023. I enjoy being able to see all of our residents each day and knowing that I am making a difference in their lives. Person Centred Care is the most important thing to me and ensuring that the residents needs, wants and wishes are met is at the forefront of my role. It is a privilege to be able to work with and support the residents at Ravensworth Lodge.
Lead Senior Carer:
Beth O’Doherty.
Hello, my name is Beth. I have been a part of the family since 2019, I began assisting in the dining room, then progressed onto care and I am now a Senior Care Assistant. I find this job very rewarding, knowing that I am making a difference -whether it be small or large- to an individuals life. I love getting to know every resident and their families and building relationships.
Activities Coordinator:
Yasmine Ward.
I have worked at Ravensworth Lodge since 2015, first as a care staff member before moving onto activity coordination. I love getting to know the residents, and spending quality time with them. I have a person-centred approach towards my job and feel it is important to get to know every individual as well as possible so that I can use this to my advantage when planning activities, trips, and visitors to come into the home. I love my job and also enjoy keeping residents family members up to date with regular email and photo updates.
Gemma Hutchinson.
My name is Gemma. I have worked at Ravensworth Lodge since 2021. I started off as a care assistant as part of my college course. Once I left college I became a full time carer as it is very rewarding and I love my job. From being a carer for 2 years I gradually started training to become a relief senior carer. This has inspired me because I can see other backgrounds within the care home. I will continue to progress within the home and give outstanding cares to the residents to fulfil their needs. My main priority is to ensure all residents are happy, comfortable and to make them feel like they are at home.
