About Us
Ravensworth Lodge is a small residential care home, run under Quaker auspices, as a non-profit making establishment. We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of care, at a relatively low cost, in a friendly and homely environment where your health, wellbeing and happiness is our priority.
We have a holistic, person-centred approach to care and welcome people of all religious persuasions.
We have a beautiful, bright, spacious lounge, with a television, piano and music centre where you can enjoy drinking your morning coffee or afternoon tea over a chat, or simply sit and enjoy the day. Perhaps with a book from our little library, or pursue personal interests at your leisure. This is also the room where we hold regular meetings for worship.
We also have a separate activity room, where you can participate in social activities for example bingo, quizzes, or crafts, organised by our Activities Coordinator. This room also has a large screen TV and sound system, perfect for movie nights. Outside, the gardens are fully accessible and we have a summerhouse for those lovely lazy summer days.
We are located in a pretty crescent in Scarborough, which is quiet, yet close to a wide variety of amenities, shops and railway station.
